IPFS and Custodial Storage

Decentralized or managed file storage

For content that must survive without a single point of failure, Cornicular supports IPFS. Files are addressed by their content rather than a location, which means identical content produces identical references and retrieval stays possible even if a specific node disappears. The decentralized copy keeps your records available for as long as the network holds them.

When you prefer guaranteed availability without running infrastructure, custodial storage gives you managed persistence. Cornicular keeps redundant copies under its own supervision and links them to the same on-chain fingerprints, so the proof and the content stay locked together regardless of which storage model you pick.

Content Addressing

Immutable content based identifiers make every file self verifying by construction.

Redundant Copies

Managed replication keeps records available even when single nodes or regions fail.

Offline Access

Content remains reachable as long as any participating peer still pins or serves it.

Chain Linked

Storage references stay anchored to on-chain proof so content and records never split.
